This 8 inch aluminum I-Beam is this heart
of the stand and supporting structure for
the globe. This I-Beam is extremely strong
and was designed to support the equivalent
weight of 4 globes. The beam is cut at an
angle so the support legs can intersect the
main beam at exactly 30 degrees.
